English: How many people are aware of how complex the shape of Concorde's wing is?
To illustrate what I mean, here is a shot of one in a hangar and see how the end of the wing is turned downwards, unlike the rest of the wing. It's things like this that allowed Concorde to fly very fast, high up and also quite slow on landing - not an easy thing to make an aircraft like this do! |
