English: Land at the edge of the trailhead parking lot at Compton Gap, located along Skyline Drive in the Warren County section of Shenandoah National Park in the U.S. state of Virginia. This is an important archaeological site, the Compton Gap Site; it is listed on the National Register of Historic Places.
