Le module de compression Ec est calculé à partir de la partie linéaire initiale de la courbe (ici entre 2 et 4 mm, environ). Détermination de la résistance à la compression σc. Moyennes sur au moins 5 essais. L'éprouvette normalisée est un cylindre (diamètre 35 mm ; hauteur 100 mm) en composite époxyde à renfort de verre (fibre de verre ou microbilles de verre, suivant la formulation) cuit à 180 °C pendant 30 min.
