Add a one-line explanation of what this file represents
Description The complicated yet elegant pattern and string pulling system of a hand-loom to make fine silk saris. Each card defines which threads get pulled up (by the visible criss-crossing pulley strings) and which stay down, defining the intricate pattern of the threading in each row of the sari. It takes a full month to set up this pattern and threads each new design and 1-2 months to produce one fancy sari that will sell for Rs 10,000 to Rs 25,000 and up. Many of these saris also have pure gold and silver threading, use thousands of different colours creating simply divine works of art.
