Description

Rodeado de palmeiras e agradáveis jardins, o Complexo Balnear do Lido é um local com paisagens encantadoras sobre o mar e sobre o Cabo Girão. As piscinas do Lido são, provavelmente, o complexo mais famoso do Funchal. Com duas piscinas de água salgada, renovada todos os dias, tem ainda acesso ao mar para os que preferem as ondas naturais do oceano. Espreguiçadeiras, guarda-sóis, piscina e mar, parque infantil, mesas de ping-pong, centro de mergulho, tobogan, loja de artigos de praia, balneários, fraldário, WC, restaurante, três bares, posto de informação turística, estacionamentos, cacifos e posto de primeiros-socorros são alguns dos equipamentos existentes nesta unidade.

O acesso é pago e há vigilância permanente, com câmaras e nadadores-salvadores. Tem Bandeira Azul.
