Description
Español: Teatro 25 de Mayo ubicado en la Av. Triunvirato 4436/44, Buenos Aires, Argentina. Era un cine teatro que había caído en desgracia, había cerrado en 1982, y estuvo a punto de ser demolido. Ante el reclamo de los vecinos el Gobierno de la Ciudad de Buenos Aires concretó la compra del inmueble en 2007 y en 2008 se reinauguró completamente restaurado.
English: The 25th of May Theater, on Av. Triunvirato 4436/44, in Villa Urquiza, Buenos Aires. Inaugurated in 1929, the theater closed in 1982. A public petition initiated in 2004 succeeded in having the City of Buenos Aires restore the building in 2007, and it was reopened on April 8, 2008.
