Summary

[edit]
Description I was in Russia not too long after Yeltsin got control, so the communists were still plenty steamed about the whole thing. My friends in Russia told me to wear a heavy coat, walk quickly, and grimace and scowl (look like a typical Russian pedestrian) if I wanted to get around St. Petersburg without incident. I unsuspectingly ended up in the middle of this communist party rally where folks were very angry and chanting anti-western slogans. Not a place you'd want to be caught with a Big Mac.
