Description
English: A typical four-octave carillon can contain 49 bells, which are arranged (from heaviest to lightest) on a musical staff as B-flat, C in the first octave, D, and then chromatic to C in the fifth octave. Carillons with this arrangement of bells include the Cathedral of Our Lady, Antwerp and the Cathedral of St. Michael and St. Gudula, among others.
