Description Col. Peter Helmlinger, the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Europe District commander, conducted the organization’s quarterly town hall Oct. 18 at the Taunus Theater in Wiesbaden, Germany. He greeted newcomers, recognized individual and team outstanding achievements, and handed out awards for length of service. The commander also addressed several key issues, including top priorities for the chief of engineers, safety measures, suicide prevention, the five-year rule, sequestration and fiscal uncertainty.
