| Description | Comma (Polygonia C-Album) It gets its name from the small white 'comma' shape on its undersides. The butterfly likes gardens and hedgerows and hibernates in Britain overwinter. The ragged wing shape is supposed to resemble a dead leaf and thus is a help with camoflage. |
