[edit]
Description
English: Sergeant Caleb Pente, explosive ordnance disposal technician with Special Purpose Marine Air Ground Task Force South, and a native of Detroit, shares with a Brazilian Marine about proper usage of night vision equipment during the night portion of a combat tracking class on Marambaia Island, Brazil, Aug. 5, 2014. The combat tracking was conducted conjunction with a counter improvised explosive device course as part of a theater security cooperation event with the Logistics Combat Element of SPMAGTF-South. Through close cooperation, the U.S. and its partners are ready to address transnational security challenges through integrated and coordinated approaches. SPMAGTF-South is currently embarked aboard the future amphibious assault ship USS America (LHA 6) in support of her maiden transit, "America Visits the Americas." (U.S. Marine Corps Photo by Cpl.
