Description

Columbushaus Berlin <a href="https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Columbushaus" rel="noreferrer nofollow">en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Columbushaus</a> post-removal of the Verkehrsturm in 1937, looking into . Orignally named, Königgrätzer Straße [after battle site Hradec Kralove in present day Czech Republic]. After World War I, the street was renamed Budapester Straße (which name has been used again in West Berlin] it was renamed Ebertstraße in 1930 after the death of the first president of the Weimar Republic , but in 1935, it became Hermann-Göring-Straße, The name Ebertstrasse reappeared in 1947. Mailed December 31 1943 from Berlin Wilhelmsruh to Schacht V Lager, Gladbeck, Westfalen. [Rheinbeben, Shaft V, a deep coal mine]
