Description
Photograph of the Columbus Public School Library building, which was built in 1853 as the Town Street First Methodist Episcopal Church. It was remodeled in 1891 and opened as the headquarters for the Columbus Public School Library on April 7, 1892. The building was demolished around 1928. In the left background can be seen a sign on a building that reads “London Clothing Co”, which stood at 132 South High Street.
