Title
Columbus Board of Trade building photograph
Description
Much of the prosperity of Columbus is due to its live Board of Trade, which embraces some eight hundred business men, representing every branch of the city's activity. A feature of its work during the past year has been the conducting of buyers' excursions, which have induced hundreds of merchants from near and distant points to come to Columbus to do their trading. The Board has a permanent fund for the entertainment of the numerous conventions which meet here. The board of Trade Building was erected by the organization some ten years ago. The headquarters of the Board are located here, but the premises in the main serve the purpose of an office building, its fine location on Capitol Square securing it a desirable class of tenants. The building also contains a fine auditorium.
