The block is part of the Columbus Commercial Historic District, which is listed in the National Register of Historic Places. The pale green building at the right edge of the picture is a former bowling alley, at 2516 13th St, built ca. 1902. The brick building to its left is the former Palace Meat Market, at 2518, built ca. 1913. The "J. Patrick's" building to its left is a commercial building at 2520, built ca. 1902. The two-story building at the left edge of the picture is the Becher, Hockenberger & Chambers Insurance Building, at 2522, built ca. 1911. The two middle buildings are contributing properties in the Historic District; the two at the edges of the picture are non-contributing properties. |
