Summary

[edit]
Description
English: 2500 block of 12th Street in Columbus, Nebraska; seen from the south. The block is part of the Columbus Commercial Historic District, which is listed in the National Register of Historic Places. The blue-and-white striped building at left is the former Brown Saloon at 2510-2512 12th Street, built ca. 1902. To its right are two buildings, now combined into Micek's Shangri-La bar: 2506 12th St. on the right, and 2508 12th St. in the middle. The first of these was originally the Snell Billiard Parlor, built in 1905. The second was a commercial building, built ca. 1909. The building at 2506 is a contributing property in the Historic District; the buildings at 2508 and at 2510-2512 are non-contributing properties.
