Summary

[edit]
Description
English: Northwest corner of 12th Street and 25th Avenue in Columbus, Nebraska; seen from the southeast. The block is part of the Columbus Commercial Historic District, which is listed in the National Register of Historic Places. The two buildings at left, now combined in the Micek's Shangrila bar, are 2506 and 2508 12th St. The one to the right of the no-U-turn sign was originally the Snell Billiard Parlor, built in 1905, and a contributing property in the Historic District; the one at left was a commercial building and non-contributing property, built ca. 1909. The empty lot on the corner was formerly occupied by the J. P. Becker Building at 2502-2504 12th Street. Across the lot is the south side of Gray's Block at 1258-1260 25th Avenue, also a contributing property.
