Hand-tinted silver print executed for the Harriman Alaska Expedition of 1899 (Alaskan ""dreamscape,"" with lake and tall pines). 1899. 6 3/8 x 8 1/8. Signed, annotated ""X307"", and dated ""copyrighted 1899 E.H. Harriman"" in the negative. Some fading. Chiefly the sky."" Transcribed from photo enclosure included by donor: ""Columbia Glacier, from Heather Island.
