Description Der Weg wurde nach Elfriede Colshorn benannt. Sie gründete 1919 am Rand des Misburger Waldes ein Müttererholungsheim. In einem Stadtplan für Hannover aus der Zeit um 2000 ist an dieser Stelle noch eingetragen „Elfr.-Colshorn-Hm.“ Der Colshornweg führt durch den Misburger Wald von der Buchholzer Straße in Richtung Nordosten bis zur Alten Peiner Heerstraße.
