Description
Français : « Romaric » fonda, sur le Saint Mont ou mont Habend, deux monastères, un d'hommes et un de femmes. Confisqué en 1790 comme tous les autres biens du clergé, le Saint Mont sera vendu, en ruines, le 19 février 1819. Les colonnes du Xie siècle ou même antérieures, à l’intérieur de l’auberge Saint Romaric, proviendraient d’après la tradition du monastère d’hommes, fondé par St Romaric, au lieu-dit tout proche, des « Vieilles abbayes ».
Un inventaire du patrimoine : Ferme de St -Romaric et ses Colonnes romanes (relevé des colonnes), Maisons et chapelles au lieu-dit Saint-Romaric, de Sainte Sabine (au lieu-dit "sainte-Sabine sur la montagne du Fossard", Vestiges gallo-romains et d'époques postérieures au Saint-Mont,... a été réalisé en 1969 par Francis Puton, "Service régional de l'inventaire de Lorraine"
