Description
Een man in militaire uitdossing (een kolonel), ten voeten uit, op de linkerzijde gezien, een zwaard aan zijn gordel, een stokwapen (partizaan) in zijn rechterhand. Op de achtergrond een heuvelachtig landschap waarin een slag plaatsvindt. Onder de voorstelling twee regels tekst in Latijn. Deze prent is onderdeel van de serie Officieren en soldaten, een serie van 12 genummerde prenten van militairen, ten voeten uit weergegeven tegen een landschappelijke achtergrond waarin krijgshandelingen verricht worden, en met een tweeregelig Latijns onderschrift.
