Description
English: Collins Barracks, National Museum commissioned by King William III in 1700. Named the Royal Barracks in 1803 until Irish Independence. This courtyard measured at 100 marching paces. The surrounding buildings provided accommodation to 5000 people. Now a museum which held, in 2006, a very detailed and comprehensive exhibition of the struggle for independence.
