Description
English: Collections of the National Maritime Museum, London
English: Arabic celestial globe, about AD 1600: There are no constellations drawn on this globe but there are 35 different stars. Each star is indicated with an inlaid silver point and the size of the point indicates the magnitude of the star. The larger ones are the brighter stars.
