Nederlands: Foto 'Het spoorwegstation Kota in aanbouw, Batavia' Het spoorwegstation Jakarta Kota werd geopend op 8 oktober 1929. Het was in 1927-1928 ontworpen door de architecten F.J.L. Ghijsels, F.B.H. Asselbergs en H.A. Hes van het Algemeen Ingenieurs- en Architecten Bureau (AIA). Opdrachtgever was de Staatsspoorwegen. Het kopstation met twaalf perrons werd gebouwd op de plaats van het gesloopte spoorwegstation van de Bataviasche Oosterspoorweg Maatschappij (BOSM): 'Batavia Zuid'. In de volksmond staat het station Jakarta Kota bekend als Stasiun Beos, wat is afgeleid van BOSM. Deze foto is opgenomen in een fotoalbum waarin de bouw van het station is gedocumenteerd vanaf maart 1928 tot kort na de ingebruikname in oktober 1929. Hier de zuidelijke vleugel in aanbouw. Op de achtergrond zijn de huizen van de Chinese wijk te zien. Het album werd destijds door de aannemers Ir. B. Elenbaas en G.D. van Oosten aangeboden aan Ir.
