English: Collar, linen, Venetian needlepoint lace, Point de Neige, remade or with new square mesh grounding in 19th century; design of stems, scrolls, strapwork, flowerheads in non-repeating pattern with headings on inside edge and border on three outside edges This collar is an example of Point de Neige lace technique. This type of lace is characterised by the tiny rosettes and stylized scrollwork.
