Español: Colegiata Santa Maria la Mayor. Monumento nacional. (S. XVI).Fue mandada edificar por el arzobispo don Fernando de Valdés en Salas, villa capital del concejo del mismo nombre. De gran importancia en la edad media, dada su situación de paso en el peregrinar a Santiago. Entre las obras de arte que atesora la colegiata, destacan: El mausoleo del arzobispo Valdés, el retablo mayor y el de la capilla de los Malleza.
