Colchester derivative BOW BROOCH
Description
English: Copper alloy brooch fragment, probably from a Colchester derivative double lug type. Lower bow and catchplate only. The bow is D-section, undecorated and tapering slightly to a blunt point. The catchplate is pierced with a triangular hole and has a "pin groove". Surviving length 33mm. The pin groove is normally found on double pierced lug type Colchester derivatives.
