Description
English: Copper alloy brooch, Colchester derivative rear hook type. Missing pin and half spring, Moulded wings (rib, bead, reel, bead from outside to centre). The surviving half of the spring has seven turns (and is the left half viewed from the front). The bow has a D-shape section with a central rib and tapers to a narrow flat end. Large solid catchplate; Width 28mm, length 44mm.
