Colchester derivative (hinged) BOW BROOCH
Description
English: Copper alloy brooch fragment, Colchester derivative hinged type. Upper half only, missing pin. Iron hinge bar. Moulded wing terminals - spool flanked by single grooves. D-section tapering bow with traces of a central narrow rib. Width 27mm, surviving length 14mm. Similar egs from Coddenham (CDD 017 DC2224) and Ipswich (IPS 015, IPSMG 1948-116-2).
