Colchester derivative (double pierced lug) BOW BROOCH
Description
English: Copper alloy brooch, Colchester derivative type, double lug and fluted sides, "Colchester B" (Hull type 92). Missing spring, pin. Traces of incised zig zag on centre rib. Two holes, one circular and one oval, in the catchplate which has a pin groove. Length 43mm, width 18mm. An example from Chemsford (Drury 1988, 94 no.7) has two circular holes.
