Description
English: Cast copper alloy Colchester brooch length 62mm, width 33mm, thickness 16mm, weight 15.47g. This is a two piece bow with a double pieced lug on the rear of the head for the spring, the spring partly remains but the pin is missing. Plain concave cross-section wings protect the spring. A ridge runs down the centre of the bow with a crest at the top of the head. open catch plate on the reverse. This item was tinned.
