Colchester Bow Brooch
Description
English: Cast copper-alloy Colchester-type bow brooch. The undecorated bow is almost circular in section. The short side-wings are flat and undecorated. The sprung pin (missing) is secured by passing an iron axis bar through the perforation behind the head. The complete catchplate has three rectangular perforations. Ron corrosion from axis bar.
