Description
English: A clipped silver siliqua of the House of Theodosius, probably of Magnus Maximus, VIRTVS ROMANORVM, Roma seated facing. Compare RIC IX, 58/84. This type was struck for Gratian, Theodosius, Magnus Maximus and Flavius Victor. Compare PAS-EFFE41 and <a href="../../../database/artefacts/record/id/399799">GLO-6F0EB3</a>. The coin has been clipped and hardly any of the legends survive.
