Description
English: A Post-Medieval, silver groat of Henry VIII (AD.1509-1547), dating to AD. 1544-1547.  Third coinage with the third bust, initial Lis initial mark. Tower Mint. North (1991:114) No. 1844.

Obverse: HENRIC 8 D G AGL FRA [Z HIB] REX; Crowned three-quarter bust right.

Reverse: POSVI/DEV [A/]DIV[TOR/]E MEV (I have made God my Helper); coat-of-arms surmounted by cross fourchée; annulets in forks.

Measurements :- Diameter 24.7mm, thickness 0.8mm;  weight 2.1g
