Description
English: Sidney Bechet lived in this house at 8612-14 Cohn Street in the Carrollton section of New Orleans circa 1913-1914. Bechet's family childhood home in the 7th Ward was demolished last year. This one is listed for demolition now. Again, want to see any history in New Orleans anywhere outside of the French Quarter? Look quick!

Both the house and the neighboring church have since been demolished.
