Русский: Герб Жирновского муниципального района Волгоградской области, 01.08.2007 — 17.07.2009

Описание: Щит пересечен поясом серебряным и черным, в верхнем золотом поле лазоревые горы сопровождаемые червленым пламенем, в нижнем зеленом поле золотой сноп пшеницы перевязанный бантом того же металла. Щит венчает золотая земельная корона о пяти зубцах.

Обоснование символики:

  • Пятнадцать колосьев пшеницы - по числу городских и сельских поселений муниципального района. Колос символ достатка.
  • Пламя (огонь) символ полезного ископаемого (газа).
  • Полосы серого и черного цвета символ полезных ископаемых: мела, песка, глины, известняка, нефти.
  • Золото - богатство, справедливость и великодушие.
  • Зелень (зеленый цвет) - символ надежды, радости, изобилия.
  • Лазурь (синий цвет) - символ красоты, мягкости и величия.
  • Пурпур - достоинство, сила, могущество, благочестие, умеренность, щедрость.
Утвержден Постановлением Жирновской районной Думы Волгоградской области (#30/155-Д) от 1 августа 2007 года.
