English: Coat of arms of Sir Thomas Howard, 2nd Earl of Surrey, KG (later Duke of Norfolk) See Norfolks' stall plate, still intact, within its original stall at St. George's Chapel - arms quarterly: 1, gules on a bend between six cross crosslets fitchée argent, an escutcheon or, charged with a demi lion rampant piered through the mouth by an arrow within a double tressure flory counterflory of the first (for Howard); 2, gules three lions passant guardant in pale or, in chief a label of three points argent (for Brotherton); 3, chequy or and azure (for Warenne); and 4, gules a lion rampant or (for Fitzalan). |
