Summary
[edit]DescriptionCoastal Swallows' burrows.jpg |
English: Bank swallows need steep banks with soils that are loose enough to dig in, but not so soft that the burrows collapse. Male swallows use their bills and feet to excavate the burrow, which usually extends around two feet into the side of the bank. This photo was taken during low water in June 2018.
