130527-N-HP195-066 Lieutenant j.g. Contesor Gomez, the chief engineer aboard the Dominican Republic's patrol boat Orion, installs the seawater intake strainers fabricated for his main engines by U.S. Coast Guard Petty Officer 3rd Class Marilyn A. Brammer, a damage controlman aboard U.S. Coast Guard Cutter Oak. Brammer created the strainers after Orion's crew alerted Oak's crew to their absence while they collaborated during Tradewinds 2013.
