English: Cleanup crews tend to oil in the Sabine-Neches Waterway in Port Arthur, Texas, Jan. 25. The oil spill was caused by a collision between the Eagle Otome, an 807-foot Singapore-flagged tank ship, and the towing vessel Dixie Vengeance, which was pushing two barges. An estimated 450,000 gallons of crude oil was spilled into the waterway due to the collision. A Unified Command has been established and cleanup crews have begun the cleanup process. |
