Summary
[edit]DescriptionCoanwood Station (geograph 4348926).jpg |
English: Coanwood Station Station on the disused Alston Branch railway, closed along with the line in 1976. The station served small mining and quarrying communities including Coanwood Colliery adjacent to the railway station. To the north of the platform, set well back at right angles, was the two-storey house, plainer in style than at the other branch stations. The house has now been extended since this photo was taken in 2011 NY6759 : Coanwood Station. |
