English: Coal Heap Taken near to ground level, this picture shows the huge pile of imported coal destined for British power stations. The old map shows this area to be mudflats and has long since been reclaimed. Old Fleet Drain can be seen in the foreground which flows from right to left directly into the River Humber just beyond this point. Special permission was granted for the taking of this photograph which was from private land. |
