Summary

[edit]
Description
English: Coach and Horses Bridge near Egginton, Derbyshire. Approaching Coach and Horses Bridge (No 25) on the Trent and Mersey Canal. The bridge refers to the former Coach and Horses Inn 300 metres to the east,to which the track crossing the bridge must have led when the canal was in full commercial use. That inn on the old A38 (Ryknild Street) later became the Every Arms, and then an Indian restaurant in 2003, but access from the canal has not been allowed through the farm for very many years. The road was made dual carriageway in the late 1960s.
