Description
English: One of Budweiser's Clydesdale teams visited Camp Pendleton's main Marine Corps Exchange during their "Salute to Service Members" tour to provide service members and their families with free bratwursts, prizes and a showing of the famous Clydesdale team July 3. The tour is a nation wide event that takes place from Memorial Day to Independence Day. All three Clydesdale teams have visited multiple military installations across the United States in a display of appreciation for those who serve. The eight Clydesdales are from the Fort Collins, Colo. brewery and have been traveling the western part of the United States during the "Salute to Service Members." Anheuser-Busch owns approximately 250 Clydesdales and operates three teams of eight. The teams serve as ambassadors to the local communities, making appearances and performing shows across the country.
