| Description |
Čeština: Parním strojem poháněný malý člun „Corra Linn“ (paročlun). „Replika“ parního člunu MAUD z roku 1886. Jediná loď svého druhu v České republice, poháněná skutečným parním strojem. Délka 6,1 metrů; šířka 1,4 metrů. Trup člunu je zhotoven z červeného cedru pokrytého dýhou z teaku a mahagonu. K pohonu je užit parní kotel typu Yarrow + Sloučený stojatý parní stroj typ Reliable Steam 5hp (koňských sil). Jako palivo do kotle souží uhlí, dřevo nebo dřevěné brikety. Stavba trupu člunu byla zahájena ve Skotsku v roce 2007; stavba parního stroje započala v roce 2017 v Praze. Stavba člunu byla dokončena v roce 2021.
English: Steam-powered small boat "Corra Linn" (steam boat; steam barge). Replica of the steam boat MAUD from 1886. The only boat of its kind in the Czech Republic, powered by a real steam engine. Length 6.1 metres; width 1.4 metres. The hull is made of red cedar covered with teak and mahogany veneer. A Yarrow + Reliable Steam 5hp (horsepower) compound standing steam engine is used for propulsion. The boiler uses coal, wood or wood briquettes as fuel. Construction of the barge hull began in Scotland in 2007; construction of the steam engine began in Prague in 2017. Construction of the barge was completed in 2021. |
