| Description |
English: Clova Parish Kirk The small kirk at Clova is no longer in use for regular worship but is available for special occasions. It was built in 1855 on the site of an earlier church, built 1730, dedicated to St Mary. The parish of Clova was united with the parish of Cortachy in 1608, but the kirk at Clova continued in use long after the union. There was so much snow lying today that the gates to the outer part of the kirkyard could not be opened. |
