L'espace étroit dont pouvait disposer l'architecte ne lui permit pas de donner à ce cloître la forme d'un carré en plan; ce n'est qu'une galerie composée de sept travées faisant face à l'église et s'y réunissant par une seule travée, de sorte que le préau donne un parallélogramme ayant en longueur sept fois sa largeur...
