Clock Tower, C&J Clark, Street

Summary

[edit]
Description
English: Clock Tower, C&J Clark, Street. The clock tower at the Street factory of C&J Clark, the shoemakers. Sadly, shoes are no longer made in Street, although they are sold in quantity. It is believed by the photographer that Douglas Adams was inspired by the shoe shops in the village to invent the retail theory called the "Shoe Event Horizon".
