Clisson (Loire-Atlantique) Eglise Notre-Dame.
A first church was built under Olivier de Clisson in the fourteenth century. It was the place of worship of the closed city. The church being very degraded, it was razed and rebuilt in the late nineteenth century. The present building dates from the years 1887-1888. It was built on plans by architect René Michel Menard of Nantes (1843-1895). René Ménard chose to be inspired by the Italian architecture. |
