English: Climbing out of Cwm Tywi, Ceredigion In fact, the border is fifty metres or so back in the middle of the bridge over the Afon Tywi. This is the renowned mountain road between Abergwesyn and Tregaron. Somehow this image gives the impression that the gradient is fairly gentle. Far from it. Although not so severe as the Devil's Staircase a few miles back there is plenty to think about, especially if something is coming the other way. First gear essential! |
